R&D Technician

Technic - Chemical Manufacturing & Analytical Laboratories
Full-time position

Job Summary:
Technic is seeking a skilled, motivated, and observant R&D technician to join our dynamic R&D team. The R&D technician will assist in developing, testing, and optimizing metal finishing solutions for the semiconductor and printed circuit board industry. This position requires accurate testing, documentation, compliance with safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
•Conduct lab experiments and product demos as directed.
•Assist in developing and optimizing chemical products and processes.
•Collaborate with the R&D team and external suppliers.
•Document experiments and prepare technical reports.
•Report findings to the R&D or Applications Chemist.
•Perform QC testing using an electronic bath analyzer.

Qualifications:
•Associate's Degree in Chemistry, or a science-related field. 
•Experience in a lab environment.
•Experience in electroplating is a plus.
•Knowledge of chemical principles.
•Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
•Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word)
•Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
•Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
