Tin is a malleable, relatively soft metal, and it provides higher protection against corrosion and excellent solderability.
Tin plating is typically found in industrial applications such as avionics (housings and terminals), construction (circuit breakers and interconnects) and the marine industry (nuts, bolts and screws utilized on marine hardware).
Technibrite HT 1000
Sulfate bright tin process with superior low current density brightness. Can be run warm, up to 35˚C. Excellent brightness even when the tin concentration is high and the bath temperature is warm.
Techni ECO BT 2
Technic's Techni ECO BT 2, is a bright tin plating process for industrial and decorative applications. The main innovation of this process is the total absence of substances that are subject to the Authorization list under the REACH regulation, such as nonylphenols. Using materials free from “Substances of Very High Concern” (SVHC) is an advantage for manufacturers, since substances classified as SVHC can eventually be added to the Authorization list, which may severely limit or prohibit their use.

Technic has led the industry in technology that slows the degradation of divalent tin (Sn 2+) to tetravalent tin (Sn 4+). In response to the demand for safer, more responsible, carcinogenic-free products, Technic has developed a new alternative - Techni Eco Antioxidant.
Techni ECO Antioxidant effectively minimizes the oxidation of stannous tin in tin and tin alloy plating solutions. Unlike traditional, carcinogenic tin antioxidants, Techni ECO Antioxidant effectively prevents tin oxidation and inhibits the formation of tetravalent tin sludge without any carcinogens.
