Technic Asia Pacific Expands its Singapore Facility
Singapore - Technic Asia Pacific (TAP) is pleased to announce an expansion of capabilities at its Singapore facility, strengthening the company's position in the semiconductor industry across Southeast Asia.
The upgrade spans both analytical and manufacturing capabilities, bringing Technic's semiconductor chemistry portfolio closer to customers across the region.
On the analytical side, TAP's Failure Analysis (FA) and Wafer-Level Packaging (WLP) laboratories have been equipped with advanced instrumentation, including ICP-MS for trace element detection at ultra-low levels, GC-MS for the identification and characterization of volatile organic compounds, and liquid particle counting for contamination monitoring.
Both laboratories operate as Class 100K cleanrooms, ensuring the level of cleanliness required for the analysis of semiconductor-grade chemistries.
TAP's wet laboratory has been extended in parallel, with additional testing space designed around improved ventilation and clearly defined working areas.
New capabilities in accelerated corrosion testing and non-destructive XRF analysis of coating thickness and composition support Technic's wider surface finishing portfolio.
On the production side, a new 1,000-liter blending rig enables local blending and supply of Technic's plating chemistries. Engineered for high-purity chemical manufacturing, the system incorporates 0.1 µm filtration for effective particulate removal and controls inorganic trace metal contamination to ppb levels, meeting stringent particle cleanliness and trace contaminant requirements of advanced packaging applications.
Together, these investments allow TAP to support customers throughout the full development cycle, from application testing and process optimization to quality analysis and troubleshooting. Local production also enables shorter lead times, greater supply flexibility, and faster response to customer-specific requirements.
As the semiconductor industry in Southeast Asia continues to grow, Technic remains committed to investing in the equipment and expertise needed to help customers meet increasingly demanding technical requirements.
