Technic remembers Jim Sincell (1950-2026)
It is with profound sadness that Technic announces the passing of James “Jim” Sincell on February 21, 2026, at age 75. Born on August 11, 1950, Jim served as a Regional Sales Manager, a position that showcased his dedication, strong work ethic, and talent for fostering enduring relationships.
Jim was the beloved husband of Victoria, his wife of more than 53 years. Their love story
began memorably when Jim boldly asked someone to give up their seat in a Harper College biology class so he could sit next to Vicki—an early glimpse of the determination, humor, and devotion that would define their marriage. They were married on December 9, 1972, beginning a lifetime partnership grounded in love, faith, and shared commitment.
A proud father, Jim is survived by his daughters, Jenna (Ryan) Mahlberg and Jaime (Bill) Patrick. He was an especially devoted grandfather to Rori, Liam, Brendan, Noah, and Juliana. Jim found great joy in watching his grandchildren grow and thrive, particularly while cheering them on in their activities, including volleyball, football, swimming, and running.
Beyond family, Jim enjoyed reading, was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan, and had a deep appreciation for music, especially The Gaithers, Eric Clapton, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and the music of the 1950s and 1960s. In later years, he embraced technology as a drone enthusiast, finding joy and curiosity in flying drones and seeing the world from a new perspective.
Jim lived a life defined by devotion—to his family, his faith, and the everyday moments that mattered most—a legacy for which he will be deeply missed.
He will also be remembered fondly by colleagues and clients alike for his many years of dedication, and his unwavering commitment to our company.
