Automated Rack and Continuous Lines, Built In-House
Technic builds plating lines for electrical busbars in power distribution, data center, and high-current applications. Busbars aren't general rack work. The bars are heavy, contact zones must stay clean, and the same shop often runs silver, tin, and copper. We size each system to your bar profile and volume, and the chemistry gets specified during design, not after the equipment ships.
Rack Plating Lines
Rack lines handle variable part mixes: drilled bars, formed bars, mixed lengths, low to medium volume. Bars
are loaded with masking on the contact zones, and the rack moves through metallization, etch and activation, plating, and post-treatment.
Technic's rack busbar lines plate silver, tin, and copper finishes on copper or aluminum substrates, with electroless nickel underplating when the spec calls for it.
Hoist transport runs manual or fully automated.
Horizontal Continuous Lines
For long runs of one extruded profile, rack loading often becomes a bottleneck. Horizontal continuous lines move the stock through immersion stations on a conveyor instead.
Contact stays continuous along the line, rectification is dedicated, and each station has its own fluid control, so chemistry doesn't drift between baths. Thickness stays in spec at production speed.
Chemistry-Matched Design

Technic's lines run our busbar chemistry portfolio:
- Techni Silver® BP
- Techni Silver® Cyless® 915/915-HS
- Technibrite HT 1000
- Techni NF JB 3000
- Techstan AL
- TechniEtch AL 68
- Techni EN Zincate
- Tarniban®/Techniseal Ag post-treatment
Because the chemistry is proprietary, we know what each bath needs (temperature, agitation, filtration, waste handling), and the equipment is built to those numbers.

Engineered and Built In-House
Tanks, structures, hoists, rectifiers, filtration, heating, cooling, exhaust, and PLC controls (Rockwell 5069 / POINT Max) are all built in-house.
Lead times stay shorter because nothing waits on an outside integrator. When something needs adjusting after commissioning, support comes directly from the team that built the line.
