Woonsocket, RI, USA — Technic, Inc., a global leader in advanced metal finishing solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Frick as the new Managing Director of Technic Engineered Powders Division.

Jim Frick brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to his new role as Managing Director. With a career spanning 31 years at Technic, Inc., Jim has played a pivotal role in the company's success, particularly in his recent position as Global Sales & Marketing Manager.

As Global Sales & Marketing Director, Jim spearheaded initiatives to expand business and increase market share worldwide. He worked closely with customers on development projects, contributing to the creation of products for the next generation.

Jim's leadership journey at Technic, Inc. includes a distinguished tenure as National Sales Manager from 1992 to 2009. During this time, he effectively managed the customer base, troubleshooting potential problems, and concurrently held the position of Quality Manager. Jim worked collaboratively with Research & Development to develop and introduce new products to the market.

Jim’s early career as a Chemical Engineer at Handy & Harman (1987-1992) provided a solid foundation in silver flake and silver powder operations, product development, and customer technical service.
