Job Responsibilities:
Provide clerical, administrative and sales support for a fast-paced custom equipment manufacturing company. Interact with customers, technical sales team, management, production, and engineering as needed to generate and process sales orders.
Duties include:
- Support customer enquiries including collecting contact information and RFQs (requests for quote) details
- Provide and track standard price quotes for catalog items and spare parts
- Maintain price lists for catalog items
- Track new sales leads, opportunities and quotes for custom equipment using Salesforce.com
- Provide customer service for order entry and order processing including generation of sales orders and invoices
- Data entry and retrieval to sales databases
- Support general office activities including phone coverage, generation of shipping documentation, business correspondence, meeting scheduling and report generation
Qualifications:
- Exceptional phone presence, courteous, confident and helpful
- Proficient in MS Office Suite of products including Word and Excel
- Ability to accurately capture and enter data, including technical content
- Above average typing speed (> 40 WPM)
- Experience with Customer Resource Management (CRM) system such as Salesforce.com a plus
- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) / MRP (material resource planning) systems a plus
- Experience working for an engineering, equipment manufacturing or similar technically oriented company a plus
Education:
Associates degree, business school certification or equivalent experience
