Copper Antioxidants
ANTIOX DFA
- is a new anti-oxidizer material which can be used in aqueous dry-film strippers based on Potassium Hydroxide or Sodium Hydroxide. ANTIOX DFA prevents oxidation on the copper surfaces during the stripping step improving the response in Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) of the innerlayers or etching of outer layers. ANTIOX DFA does not contain any organic solvents and does not increase the COD of the spent stripping solutions. ANTIOX DFA is highly concentrated, assuring a high yield. Control is simple, the ANTIOX DFA is replenished based on drag-out of the solution. ANTIOX can be used in conventional spray stripping equipment. It is added at a rate of 10 ml per liter to the ready-to-use stripping solution. To maintain the concentration in the stripping solution additions of ANTIOX DFA are made to the bath by replenishing based on square feet processed and the stripper consumed.
ANTIOX MLX
- is an anti-oxidant for copper surfaces. The product is used following chemical cleaning of copper surfaces and prior to dry film or liquid resist applications to improve resist bonding. It can be used following resist stripping to improved AOI performance
Techni PC Anti-Tarnish
- is an anti-tarnish agent that can be added to rinse water to protect the copper surfaces from oxidation. The Technic PC Anti-Tarnish has been formulated to provide improved oxidation resistance on chemically active copper surfaces that have been treated with microetching solutions. The standard application of the Techni PC Anti-Tarnish is by aspiration method into the final running rinse water on a process line. The resulting surface will be protected from oxidation for hours. In addition the monomolecular organic film that is bonded to the copper surface will facilitate resist bonding, improving resist adhesion compared to untreated copper. The Techni PC Anti-Tarnish solution is an integral part of the Technic Innerlayer Cleaning Process.
