SEMCON 1000 Wafer Plater

The SEMCON 1000 has been developed to meet the needs of the R & D markets in university research and small company laboratories. The 1000 system provides uniform plating of most patterned wafers. Typical applications include plating for MEMS, MOEMS, ICs, etc. on silicon, gallium arsenide and similar glass-type substrates.

The SEMCON 1000 incorporates the same basic cell design features of the higher end SEMCON 2000 system, at a much lower cost. The tool features a single plating cell along with a dragout rinse cell. Plating cell components include heat, temperature control, low level safety device, pump and filter, DC power supply and plating rack. The tool is self-contained, constructed of white polypropylene with a clear PVC process cover designed to meet class 1000 clean room specification
